Pre-Boarding Overview

🎯 Project Blueprint:
Steps for Your Website or Pitch Deck

This page breaks your project into easy sections so nothing feels overwhelming. Explore at your own pace. Each section walks you through what to expect and why it matters -- so when we start, you'll feel prepared and confident.

  • What's the purpose of your website?

Here are some common goals to think about. You can have more than one -- and they may evolve as we go.

    • ✅Build credibility or showcase your brand

    • ✅Attract and book new clients

    • ✅Sell products or services online

    • ✅Share a message, blog, or creative work

    • ✅Grow your email list

    • ✅Serve as an online portfolio or media kit

    • ✅Create a hub to simplify your business systems

    • ✅Increase visibility in search results (SEO)

    • ✅Make things easier for your audience (accessibility, user flow)

Just a reflection, not a test.

This section is here to help you think about your bigger-picture goals -- there's no right or wrong answer, and we'll refine these together.

  • Every project moves at its own pace -- and that's okay. Some sites are done in 3-4 weeks, especially when the content is ready, and we're keeping things focused. Others take 8-10 weeks or more when we're building complex features, writing copy together, or waiting on approvals.

Here's what affects your timeline the most:

    • 🕒How quickly content and assets are delivered

    • 🔄How many revisions are requested

    • 🤝How responsive we both are with communication

Important to know: If content or approvals are delayed, your timeline will be rescheduled accordingly. I'll always keep you in the loop -- but timely collaboration keeps everything on track and your spot protected in my schedule.

  • I keep things light and flexible. Here are the tools we'll most commonly use:

    • 💬 Communication: Email (primary), Zoom for check-ins, and shared Google Docs when needed

    • 📁 Files: Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer for easy uploads -- whichever you already use works

    • 🔧Project tools:

      • Wix Studio -- where your site is built

      • Canva -- for collaborative design boards if needed

    No sign-ups needed right now.

I'll invite you to any tool we use when the time comes. Most are free and very beginner-friendly -- you won't need to figure anything out on your own. 🚀

  • Here's your step-by-step checklist. Think of it as your "you've got this" list -- nothing overwhelming, just one action at a time.

    1. ✍️Create Your Wix Account

You'll need a Wix account so I can start building your site. If you already have one, you're all set.

      🧩 Sign up at Wix.com →

    2. 📄Review Your Project Proposal

I've created a custom plan for your project. Take a few moments to look it over and make sure everything feels right. This is a good time to ask questions before we finalize anything.

    3. 🖊️Electronically Sign the Proposal

Once you're happy with the plan, add your e-signature. This locks in your project scope and lets me know we're ready to move forward.

    4. 💳Receive and Pay Your Invoice

I'll send your invoice right after the proposal is signed. Once the deposit is paid, your project is officially on my schedule. 🎉

  • I'll guide you through everything -- but here's a simplified overview of what's ahead so nothing catches you off guard.

    Your Part

    • ✍️Gather your content (or request help)

    • 🎨Send logos, brand colors, or inspiration

    • 📸Provide photos or image preferences

    • 📋Approve design mockups

    • ✅Review and sign off before launch

    My Part

    • 🗺️Build your site strategy and structure

    • 🎨Design every page to match your brand

    • 🔍Optimize for SEO and accessibility

    • 🧪Test across all devices before launch

    • 🚀Guide you through launch day

What Happens If I Get Stuck?

A Friendly Guide to Keeping Your Website Project Moving
(Even When Life Happens)

Hey, it happens. You get busy. Life throws a curveball. Or maybe you're just staring at a blank doc wondering, “What am I even supposed to write here?”
This guide is here to remind you: you’re not behind — you're just in progress.

🧘‍♀️ Step 1: Breathe. You’re Not Alone.

It’s totally normal to feel stuck at some point in your website journey. Whether it’s writing content, choosing images, or figuring out what to say about your services, I have seen it all.

🛟 Step 2: Ask for Help

You don’t have to do this solo. Here’s how I can support you:

  • Feeling blocked on content? I have prompts, templates, and content add-on options.

  • Unsure about your branding? We can do a quick moodboard or review together.

  • Overwhelmed by decisions? Send me what you do know, and I’ll help shape the rest.

📩 Just send me a quick email with what’s holding you up. We’ll create a simple path forward together.

⏳ Step 3: Let’s Talk Timing

If things are taking longer than expected, that’s okay! Just know that:

  • Your project timeline is based on momentum — if we pause for content or feedback, your spot in the schedule may shift.

  • I’ll always be transparent with rescheduled timelines and available options.

  • You can pause a project officially if needed — I just need a heads-up.

❤️ Step 4: You’re Doing Better Than You Think

If you’ve made it this far, you’re already doing amazing. Website projects take emotional energy — it’s not just pixels and pages.

Progress isn’t always linear. But it is progress.
Keep going — or take a breather. I’ve got your back either way.

Want to talk it out?
Just reply to your last email or send me a quick message.
Together, we’ll move this from “stuck” thing to “unstoppable.” 🚀
